If they aren't in your group you think its okay to treat them as non human so by definition the normal rules don't apply in your mind. The alternative way to think is this be nice to people in general, try to look at the world in a constructive way, try to help others, be kind to others, don't be a selfish cunt, genuinely try to help others and feel good about who you are by being proud of that character instead of just joining mob rule and just assuming your mob are the good guys and therefore justify any evil they do... no be good means you are proud of yourself even when nobody will find out because you know and they probably will find out anyway but even if they don't you know. So when you are looking your son or daughter in the eye and thinking about yourself as a parent as an example and think would they be proud of me? should they be? they will say yes I had a real effort to always be good or no I did some fucked up shit and I am embarrased by it and maybe that is why my kids have mental problems, maybe that is why their lives are fucked maybe I am responsible... so rather than have that happen maybe instead make the right choices and they turn out okay
