Imagine

Imagine a world after the pendulum starts going the other way again.

A world in which the Democrats decide to federalize the entire school system with no consent for states rights.

Imagine them getting rid of abstinence education, and the whitewashed Neo Confederate bullshit that they teach in the majority of the country.

Imagine if instead of the heavily censored and romanticized version of American history that we get even in a lot of Midwestern states, we get taught our actual history, which includes native, and black history which has been forced to be an elective course rather than core education for some reason because "white kids shouldn't feel bad for being white", even though literally no one is saying that they should.

A world where sex education was comprehensive, and not locked into the religious, heteronormative idea that sex should only be for concieving a child, something the right doesn't actually believe in but pretends to for the sake of moral superiority.

A world where people were actually taught about their bodies, and what fucking consent is, and what things aren't consent.

That would be a world worth living in.

A civil war would probably break out immediately, but at least our population wouldn't be completely ignorant anymore.

But no, the democrats only goals currently are to keep the republicans from letting I.C.E become our new government, and maybe if we are lucky, try to reverse SOME of Donald Trumps policies that sane people would find repugnant, while still blowing Israel.
