I'm tired of citizens.

I'm fucking sick of these entitled pricks that show up to the lobby every day. They wait 6 months to report a crime because of some sort of insecurity, and then when an officer takes 30-40 minutes to arrive for the report, they're whining and bitching the entire time. Sir, or ma'am, please understand that every police department in the United States of America is completely and utterly understaffed. You wait an hour in the emergency room with a boo-boo on your elbow, but when you're currently not in a life-threatening situation in the lobby, it's now my fucking fault that the officer who is currently dealing with an emergency outside can't get to you faster after you decided to physically come to the police department to report something that could've been report either at your house or over the phone. I don't fucking get it. Just fucking wait. Stop hounding me, I'm always busy up to my neck in actual work. I have to handle the entry, modification, and clearing of warrants, missing people, stolen vehicles, guns, and other serial numbered articles. I have to research wanted subjects and communicate with out-of-state jurisdictions to confirm extradition talks between commonwealth attorneys. I have to acknowledge and update any changes to the sexual offender registries. On top of all of it I have to let you bang on my window every 5 fucking minutes to hear you bitch and moan about an officer not deploying from the ceiling tiles immediately upon walking inside the lobby. All of you sound like you never actually grew up at all. Bitchy, whiny, screaming, slurs, blaming me, the one behind a computer made for research. I don't dispatch, I just place calls up. Blame the system. I didn't fucking do anything wrong. I fucking hate all of you. I want a data entry job away from anyone and anything. I want to just type and click. I don't want to talk to any of you. I don't feel bad, I don't want your backstory, your crying does nothing to me. Just sit the fuck down and wait. If you can't wait, then leave. I don't know what else to fucking tell you.
