School Choice™️ is a joke

The School Choice Movement is a fucking joke in every sense of the word.

It is literally just deservatives trying to steal public school funding to fund religious academies, and their weird creepy charter schools that have no actual standards for schooling.

The money that those schools get is never used for actual school and is instead of used to fund a bunch of shit that has nothing to do with schooling 90% of the time, or give these schools that are already collecting thousands of dollars in tuition a year the ability to do more "fun" things while Public Schools can't even keep their art or music programs open.

It is absolutely insane that we are now permitting kids to leave school during the middle of the day for religious study that is being paid for on the public dime.

You're too lazy to teach your kids your own religion so you outsource public funds to force them to waste their time being bussed to another school and back to do it?

Fucking insane.

And the only thing worse is people doing unaccredited versions of homeschooling.
