Swingers

Ever since my husband and I became swingers, our marriage has only become better and better. Ethical non monogamy, when done right, feels natural and fulfilling. I do hate not being myself with my vanilla friends and co workers though. Anytime there is even a suggestion of us being swingers, we feel stinging judgement form every direction. And it sucks. Our professions do not allow the luxury of being "out".
That being said, I do hate all the recent podcasts and youtubers jumping on the "wagon" trying to exploit the fact of being in the lifestyle just to get more clicks. Even sadder, a lot of those "lifestyle bloggers" are fake and don't even swing themselves. I thought that Any type of positive exposure for the lifestyle would be positive, I really do think people need to know that swingers can be your doctors, your lawyers, your barbers, your dog walkers, just about any one in your life. But this recent popularity has opened the door for boring vanilla people to invade our community. They go to swing clubs and resorts "just to look" and "be around sex", but never actually participate. And you know what? it's pathetic and creepy. If me and my husband are going to be judged in the vanilla world, yes... I'm going to judge vanillas for invading the only spaces where we feel safe. If you're barely exploring the lifestyle and dipping your toes, that's one thing. But these vanillas just come and look and jerk off, and it feels invasive. And they're the same ones that point fingers and gossip about us on the outside. Just awful. I never thought I would have this kind of gate keeping mentality, I hate tribal behavior. But I can't help it, I can't stand hypocrites.
I would say if you're not down to fuck, stay out of our lives.
