Its a wonderful life

That miserable drunk pharmacist on the film Its A Wonderful Life beats the hell out of the kid. "HIT WUZ UHHH DIFFRENT TYME" No, that shit was wrong then and wrong now. Most people aren't horrible, and even 90 years ago that kind of behavior wasn't right. Stop generalizing.

I see why the parodies of this movie are more popular than the actual film itself. I knew the story from the billion parodies growing up, and never even saw the original until a few years ago. When I did I was surprised to see this disturbing depiction of child abuse, and then how the whole "Clarance, I wanna live again" part wasn't until the last 20 minutes of the film. Most of the movie is dull, meandering bullshit.

No wonder more contemporary and realistic movies like A Christmas Story and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation are more revered than this shit. And fucking White Christmas with Bing Crosby, NO ONE under 80 considers that a classic. I never saw it and only know about it because my grandmother had a snowglobe of it.
