I am not personally rude to disabled people but if you want to understand, neurotypical and able-bodied people see the world as meant for them.
They see accommodations as "special treatment" even though making rooms and buildings accessible helps literally everyone.
Lord knows how pissed these fuckers would be if their high rise apartments existed for only people without disabilities, and elevators didn't exist in the buildings.
They hate seeing anyone that is physically disabled because it means they have to acknowledge the world isn't just for them, because they think they are the only people that matter. anonymous 2 hours ago
Yeah, I'm sorry OP. I had to use a wheelchair when I was six and it sucks being physically disabled. They just don't like people who remind them they aren't the only ones around. You're not doing anything wrong by existing OP. You keep on being you. anonymous 56 minutes ago
My right shoulder is highly limited too which sucks. It’s not broken. It’s wear and tear from physical labor that Redditors love to recommend, but would never try themselves.
It sucks. Keep calling out the hypocrisy. Just another way “differently abled” is bullshit. Feeling serious pain when xtending my arm or holding it above my head or rotating it certain ways isn’t an ability. It’s not a super power. It severely limits what I can do given my PTSD as well. anonymous 47 minutes ago
