The Screw

I will start by saying that this is not what most would consider a normal rant, but I need to get it off my chest. I will post this story here as I wish to remain annonymous. I was out and about near a clearing in a small wooded area doing who knows what (can’t remember, honestly), when I noticed it. I don’t really know how else to describe it other then what looked like the tip of a big screw, protruding from the ground. It was white in color and was like a spiral that ended at a sharp tip. Touching it only made me more confused, it was warm to the touch and felt like metal. But that was not the strangest part. When I grabbed it, I could feel a strange vibration. It was like a small earthquake was contained inside of this strange object. There was no way to tell just how large it was. All that I could make out was that it was at the very least around 4 feet tall. I spent around an hour just watching it. When I went home I began to get sick. I spent an entire week in my bed. I would vomit and shake violently. I also found myself having trouble sleeping at night. During that week, I would see occassional black cars driving past our house and parking at the edge of the wooded area near our house. People in black suits would get out and walk into the wooded area and later walk back out a few hours later. When I got better, I returned to that clearing and did not find that strange screw. Just a patch of dead grass where it had been. I still have no idea what I experienced that day or if it is somehow related to me suddenly getting sick.
