Streamers

Why are you guys letting youtube hide your email? You aren't IShowSpeed or JackSepticEye who's got a management team anyway. I've got a list of 150 or so streamers so far I plan on contacting to promote my game. I try to keep the distribution pretty realistic, but I need some possible homeruns too.

Seriously though, you got so many streamers who are in the range of my median for follower count that are just slowing down the process. Youtube only lets me see like 5 emails/day. They don't put their shit on Twitch as far as I can tell, but far too many who do put their emails there bury that shit. That or these geniuses will make link trees and make it hard af to get their email from that too.

If you're under 50-100 followers in my genre I couldn't guarantee I would reach out, but I can say you wouldn't be too far out of my range either. Honestly, make it easy enough and you'd probably get a key from an indie dev like me.

If you really want to request keys through keymailer or some similar service instead then go for it I guess. Just being on the indie dev side of that relationship it seems like a bunch of bullshit for everyone involved. They charge me to access more than 10 content creators/streamers a month, and you probably don't get paid shit either. That or you request a key and look like a possible scammer trying to get a free key because that's part of their reputation.

Personally, I'd rather just shoot you a demo, press kit, and steam key with my pitch all at once. I'm no genius, but a lot of people have liked what I'm describing so far. I'm a good enough programmer to know I can pull off the programming and my other assets would just improve with time.

Like women though who can't read a room or tell a guy has a crush on them and wants to bury them with embarrassment though you gotta make shit harder for everyone. Shits fucking stupid.

And no, I'm not being a dick or discriminatory. I honestly don't even pay attention to shit like gender or sexual orientation until it's thrown in my face. Even then, there's no ideal person because I'm trying to make money. In fact, looking forward to people feminists wouldn't expect to play my game. Shit'll be funny.

Just annoying as hell some of you are making it harder than it needs to be by adding another step. Remove the damn thing if you're not interested at all. People love to beg for free shit anyway. Remove the begging aspect and let's make a damn deal like adults instead.
