I saw some bullshit on Reddit I think that if you're loud and forceful that people won't ever see eye-to-eye with you. You have to be diplomatic.
Tell that to "Ojibwe Warrior" Dennis Banks or the author of "Where White Men Fear to Tread" Russell Means. You could also tell it to the DJ who took over Alcatraz for 18 months, John Trudell. How about the legendary guitarist who worked with John Trudell, Jesse Ed Davis. Never heard of Jesse? That's okay. He played with all four Beatles, and was on several albums for two of them. The last one, McCartney, had him around for an event with legendary musicians such as Stevie Wonder. Another fun fact is that he's why Duane Allman got into slide guitar (Statesboro Blues by Taj Mahal), and he was the replacement for George Harrison when George couldn't rely on Eric Clapton to show up. Bro could play Eric's role or his own in a song on the fly.
Point is: If you know your shit it isn't gonna matter how you communciate it. Need more examples?
Emma Watson's: 2x2x2 initiative which faced a lot of backlash. Aside from her posh accent she's never been known for being loud like Means.
Saw people recently criticizing Anne Hathaway for her speech at the UN too. Again, soft spoken and polite. That's the only way you get anywhere in Hollywood.
Show me a single hollywood "activist" who took over federal government buildings and got acquitted like Means. Any of them that forced the reform that the AIM did. You can't.
The best example you'd have is MLK Jr., but MLK Jr. was once arrested. His letter from the jail is highly controversial and also highly quoted. He also said moderates are a bigger danger than people who take a side regardless of the side they've taken.
Anyway, it's all bullshit. You need to be loud. You need to be so damn loud that people can't ignore you. Look at me. People came at me left and right on here over my rants. Now they don't do shit because they aren't gonna shut me up. They might not like me, and that's good. The last thing I'd want is their approval. But I'm not always as wrong as they want me to be either. I'm also speaking from experiences they can't write off nearly as easily as they thought. I have receipts and nothing to lose by providing them even though I haven't.
I'm at a point where I have nothing to lose in general. It'll probably kill me. It has damn near killed me already. That death sure as hell won't be silent or convenient for anyone though. People wanna fuck around and I'll make sure when I go no one is confused about a damn thing. No need to hurt anyone cause they won't learn that way. They need to see consequences like suicide to change their ways.

^ and it's okay if feminists try to brand me as some violent incel. I'd never commit an act of violence against anyone else. Don't even threaten to. if it leans that way I tend to make it clear it's not a threat. That wouldn't solve anything. People need to sit with and experience consequences, not be able to escape them.
I'm just one person with nothing to lose anyway. I could go tomorrow and nothing would be lost. So it really makes no difference. Society put me here. That's okay if you ask them, including feminists. Hell, that's equality if you ask them.
So when it all comes to an obvious conclusion and I've finally had enough of living out of anger and spite at least no one will be confused. anonymous 58 minutes ago
