Someone let me know when any supernatural being who qualifies as "God" is going to come and physically say "Howdy!" and remove all doubt. It's been almost 49 years that I've been waiting.

I hear a lot of flawed, deranged, untrustworthy, and vindictive humans banter on about "God this", and "God hates these people", and "God wants you to do that", and I had to listen to this shit all of my life. I want to hear the Big Man directly.

^ i absolutely agree. although im theistic in a different religion now, its VERY frustrating when people try to make you adhere to something that A. might not exist and B. hasnt helped you in any way. like why would i want to obey a being that has all these rules i have to follow, all while not giving a darn about my life struggles or giving me anything back in general?

having a fire-and-brimstone approach while trying to talk to non-christians will never help you get people to believe in your religion. i dont think proselytism is okay anyway (as much as i wish more ppl believed in my deity) but saying "hey! youre gonna burn in hell if you dont follow these rules! god hates people like you! youre a s-s-sSINNER!" instead of saying "hey! god loves you and he can help you!" is never gonna get anybody to become christian except for the meek and naive people. i dont believe in god either way, but im just saying. if yer gonna try to brainwash people at least do it the right way
