Half retard

I used to work at a restaurant. This able bodied, mid 20s or so guy used to be a regular. Staff would be nice to him for tips. I always thought this was wrong, like he was being exploited.

Whatever he had, he was higher functioning. He held a job, was able to drive by himself, and I think loved on his own.

Anyway, I always tried to be nice to him when he came by. Never expecting or wanting a cent in tips.

For whatever reason, he was always a closed off dickhead to me. He'd avoid eye contact, ignore and cut off anything I'd say, and would then grab his food when I'd hand it to him like a toddler using excessive force to where it was like he jerked the food away.

I never treated him any different than other customers. Like I said, I didn't try to exploit him for tips like the other bitches I worked with. Yet, he still treated me like pig shit.

It hurt my feelings after him grabbing the food like he did so many times. After awhile I stopped trying to be friendly towards him. He'd come up to me, I wouldn't say anything, he'd still bark his name in the low and dismissive tone he'd use with me, then he wouldn't say thank you or anything.

I don't care whatever bullshit behavioral problems/retardation he had, there is no excuse. I've been through more than most ever fucking go through and I'm at least friendly. Most people have been through something and choose not to be assholes. This prick had no excuse. Bet he probably pays for Onlyfans or some shit. Retard.
