My art has consistently looked like shit for the past few motnhs and I finally made a sketch im proud of, my family member just crumpled it up and I feel like shooting myself.

It's completely normal to go through times when your artistic eye doesn't match your works. I'm sincerely sorry you had to deal with getting your work ruined in front of you. I really hope you start to feel better soon and you continue to make art despite negative experiences, and yeah!
