Fuck indie developers

The whole shit of pressuring people to support indie game devs is like the internet version of the "support your local business" shit.

It's a choice to make indie games. You are not a hero for doing so. And if it looks good I'll support it, if it doesn't I'm not. I also won't support you further if you're a dickhead cocksucker.

The attitude of indie devs turns me away. People who live at their computers who ignore fans.

There are two different instances where I got the cold shoulder. One was for a game a few years ago, one that was sorta flavor of the month. Still, I wanted to say how much I liked it. I did and nothing.

The other game was on a cartridge. I found an Easter egg that encouraged the player to contact the dev to let them know someone found it. No info or videos on YouTube showed the easter egg. I found it myself. Infact so few people bought this game, even fewer made it past the first few levels. Even at the time of this rant, most YouTube videos of this game are from the really early stages.

I email this **** and say how I like the game and use the codeword that was on the easter egg screen. And? Nothing. Nothing from a fucking person with no job who lives at their computer all day. Never again. I'll never buy another game of theirs. I don't care if the game is interactive to where you fuck a Fleshlight and get to VR fuck Avril Lavigne with how she looked on the Hot video, I still won't buy it because I don't willingly give my money to assholes.

Fuck indie devs.
