Beauty standards are based on pedophilia

I saw somebody point this out online today and it's really true. As a woman it seems you're supposed to be in a 5 alarm panic if you have any body hair whatsoever...but that's one of the first signs you are becoming an adolescent, and one of the last things to go when you get old. Practically all adults have body hair unless they have either some phenomenally unusual condition or they have had it removed permanently. That's why I personally refuse to shave and I only date people who can deal with that. I'm living a real adult life with a job and responsibilities and I don't always have the time or the motivation to pretend I'm some other species that doesn't grow body hair. Most people who expect a woman to shave aren't pedophiles, but in my experience, they are typically entitled and unreasonable in other ways and expect a level of performativity that just aren't compatible with real life.
