"arts district" places

ALWAYS some shitty place in an area smack dab in the middle of the ghetto. Usually recently renovated and pretty much held together by tape. You feel like you're in danger just as you drive through while getting there, and even more uneasy as you prepare yourself to get out of your vehicle and actually attempt to go in. Always playing out scenarios in my head of it I were to be robbed while going to these places.

These places are always so full of itself about so-called equality. Shirts and stickers for pride and how love is love. LGBT+ people who hate everyone and preach this non-sense are the modern version of the bitchy church lady who doesn't practice what she preaches. And I can say this as someone who is technically part of that bullshit rainbow and NEVER alludes to it because I am a normal person who is not a cunt who thinks sexual preference makes them a special whittle snow flake. Even if I wasn't, this complaint is still valid. I'm tired of the people who pretend to be all about open voices silencing people.

I'm not a woman, nor am I an effeminate cunt soyboy, so I don't really fit the demographic who can't even afford the overpriced shit they spend money on in these places. I'm always willing to try new foods and maybe buy some trinket if it's cool, but I'm usually not acknowledged at these places or kind of given the cold shoulder because I think they assume I don't have any money. You can never tell. Even if I was maxing out credit cards (which I'm not, knock on wood) whose to say I wouldn't still be buying shit? Being a non-sissy male probably plays into it as well. You know, the people who love and accept everyone for who they are, making judgments and thinking less for arbitrary shit.

So yeah. These places tend of offer crap you could get anywhere else. Aliexpress bootleg junk crafts, offbrand sodas you can buy at Menard's, "art" you can pay way less for on Etsy. All while assuming shit about you. Feels very uncomfortable. Then the shit where they're practically sucking each others genitals on Facebook comments always turns me away. I hate cliquey bullshit, especially by grown adults who are older than me.

Is it really any wonder that these places fail?
