Granted, I'm tribal potawatomi but I only ever make the joke I can't read for two reasons:
- Anishinaabemowen/Neshnabemowen (or Nish Nish) traditionally should be my native tongue
- It always brought my GPA down from 4.0 to like 3.8-3.6 because I was average in English.
Fucking sucks I'm either gonna be guilty of being male despite my race being first or last in everything in the worst way possible OR guilty of being native american (People gloss over the fact one of the first groups Trump attacked in 2016 was natives, and he's got a history of trying to prevent our casinos too).
Being native is amazing until it isn't, which when I wake up in the morning.
