Why don't NDNs try harder?

Why can't they be grateful for the bootstraps CPS hasn't been able to take from them as they're sent off to a Catholic boarding school since 1978? Are they ungrateful? What the fuck is wrong with them? Why the fuck are they worried about lack of economic development on the rez? Why don't they just work harder? Maybe if they'd stop drinking all that alcohol they wouldn't be so worried about diabetes or obesity, right? They should try boycotting the liquor stores instead of getting drunk and people would stop making racist jokes about how to get rich fast. Right? It's that easy, right? Especially when goalposts are constantly shifted.

You dumbfucks will probably downvote me either way and claim I'm overreacting despite all the literature and statistics on these problems, but I'm tribal ndn. Didn't grow up on the rez though.
