Why do people go so crazy over sex?

I've had sex, some of it has been good, some has been great, but none of it has been worth the crap I see other people put themselves and others through over it. Sex isn't worth drama or manipulation and it certainly isn't worth violence or ruining somebody's life. I don't get it at all.

It can be for a number of things like addiction, boredom, and then there’s the trickier topics like some sort of fear or trauma of not wanting to be alone or not feeling loved enough so they seek out sex as a quick fix.
There’s a lot of reasons why people go crazy for sex. I think nowadays there’s just a lot of porn addicted people so yeah…
But i agree, it’s not worth any drama or going crazy over.
