When one door closes, another door opens

I have been through all kinds of situations in life. I was once crying on the train. A kind man approached me and asked if I was okay. I told him that I had given up a chance at a really good job opportunity. He patted my hand and said, "The reason is because there is something better to come for you." Sure enough, I got an amazing job opportunity within a few weeks. I think that was the best job I had. It had everything except the intellectual challenge that I was seeking.
Same logic applies to education and relationships. Maybe some relationship was not meant to be because there is someone out there who will be a better fit for each one of us. Education, I need to keep studying. Learning never ends. Failure is inevitable, but we stand up again after falling down. We gain weight over the Holidays and then we work hard to lose it.
And most important lesson of all: Believe in yourself.
