Tap water equal bad parenting

Tap water equal bad parenting

I don't care what anyone says. I think it is poor parenting to let your children drink from a tap. Unless it is heavily filtered water, either by a built-in filter system in your home, an attached filter on the faucet, or a pitcher kept in the fridge with a filter, kids shouldn't be consuming water out of a damn sink!

We have a filter system in our home, and we have bottled water delivery and bottled water in both the kitchen refrigerator, the beverage cooler, and our mini-fridge in the garage.

I called CPS on my neighbors over this, and relatives for letting their kids do that and the police nor social services will do a damn thing about it. Water from the tap isn't for direct consumption. We don't even bathe directly in it in our home because of our home filtration system.

I didn't grow-up drinking tap water. We had water delivery and a filter.

At school, I took water, never drank from a fountain.

When we go out, I make sure the water served at the table comes through a filtered system, if not, we get bottled water or something else to drink.

To me, when I see people turning on a tap without a filtration and filling a glass, cup, or bottle and drinking from it. I want to gag It is equal to drinking directly from the sewer. Might as well go lick your toilet bowl! Which btw, our toilet water is cleaner than some of the nasty-ass tap water some of you let your children drink!

The only time I ever drank tap water was at the hospital two years ago after my knee surgery. I watched the stupid ass little blondey eighteen year old nursing student go fill my cup up in the hospital sink, and bring it to me to take my pain meds. I should have refused! I was nauseas for the rest of the day, nearly barfed several times, and kept feeling like I was going to shit my pants the entire time. They had to give me stomach medication to counteract it. Tap water is poison, and a hospital of all places should know this! I filed a complaint, and I never saw that student again. I hope she wasn't permitted to continue in nursing school and graduate.

Stop letting your kids drink from a damn cesspool full of toxins, bacteria, chemicals, oil, agricultural byproduct run off, dead fish, algae, slime, feces, blood, contaminants, used toilet paper, tampons, and condoms, discarded medications, urine, and every other bodily fluid you can think of! That stuff drain in directly off the street and into your home, and don't buy the bullshit about it going through a rigorous treatment process in some far off "water reclamation center" you know nothing about! Most of that water goes right back into a river, lake or stream before it comes cycling through your home again....filthy and unsanitary! Think about a reservoir! That is where the majority of the water to your directly comes from. It is unfiltered lake water! You really want to drink that? It get used for recreations purposes....thinking of what that means!

Don't be a horrific, lazy, cheap parent....and allocate your budget to buy a filter or bottled water. Cut out something else if you need to do that. Instead of buying twelve packs of soda, buy water. Instead of buying booze, buy water! Instead of all those streaming services, or ordering off Doordash, or going to Starbucks, buy a PUR if you don't want to constantly have to buy bottled water or pay for a subscription! It is a simple, affordable solution.

I have been drinking tap water for 25 years. Nothing ever happened to me. I even swim in the lake by the shore. Nothing happened to me. Weird post. I guess you have low immunity.
