The CNN headline about the Louvre robbery today "Thieves Steal 'Priceless' Jewelry From the Louvre", could literally be describing how the priceless gemstones wound up in France in the first place from places like Colombia & India: from colonizing activities which included forced labor of indigenous local populations in mines to produces enough valuable gemstones & precious metals to keep the European colonization of the Global South funded.anonymous Political October 19, 2025 at 2:36 pm 0 0
