shitty boss

"You know what I mean?" I notice this is a phrase muttered over and over again by the shittiest acting people. You know what I mean?

I was between jobs and really needed to find some place to work at a few months back. I got a phone call about starting somewhere. Benefits were promised after a few months (yeah) AND it was a part time position starting out. But if I did a good enough job and worked hard enough, THEN I'd be able to get full time hours after establishing myself....yeah.

I knew this was a shitty deal and have been around the block enough to know that these promises were going to never come. The woman sounded like a sanctimonious cunt over the phone. Kept saying "You know what I mean?" over and over during our brief interaction. I ended up turning it down.

About a week ago I went into that place. I heard that woman talking. Her voice was more shrill and demanding in person. I saw I dodged a bullet. I'd be much worse off if I had taken that job.
