I'm not talking about his very questionable opinions on women. I'm talking about his advice that if you're able to be happy single you should do that, because it's a blessing not everyone has, and single life is easier than marriage and family life. Hell, it's easier than dating.
Trying to make two lives work together even enough to enjoy a dating relationship practically requires a degree in logistics. Then what happens when you're together will make you wish you had a degree in psych...until you remember every psychologist you ever met was divorced, and then you start wondering if becoming an exorcist is more what's needed to handle romantic relationships.
I don't know, I've been in my situation for a while and I love the guy I'm with (we're gay, just so the trolls have something to gnaw on), I just find it difficult. We've both been through a lot (in great part because we're both gay plus I'm disabled and he's really big so he got bullied nonstop as a kid) and we both just freak out a lot. Sometimes I feel like it's too much to keep up with.

There will be a thousand reasons to not be together. If you love someone, then that is enough reason to make it work. Best of luck. Sara Suzzie Kim Chi Sadovski 4 hours ago
