Rejections from low grade shit builds character

I notice that the moments that really shape your confidence are when you finally come to realize you are infact too good for something and deserve better. You almost feel invincible and unshakable when it comes to this feeling and then you refuse to settle for the shit ever again.

Jobs that exploit you. Relationships where you are giving and trying and doing your part, while the other person isn't trying and has absolutely nothing to offer. Inept socially awkward charisma voids with nothing to offer, who do nothing but complain and have no ambition. Eventually you step up and refuse to ever be in that kind of shit again. The OMG factor of someone looking your way wears away and then you get to a point where you kind of refuse to settle for anything less than a person who doesn't suck, who actually makes you feel alive on some level.

And fast food. MCdonalds and Taco Bell are really liked the low grade dating pool of food joints. They are stuck in the past with their ideals, they are wayyyy more trouble than they are worth, you don't get value, the whole experience is meh and you're probably going to want something else later on. Same thing.

But yeah, getting rejected by these kinds of things eventually lights that fire in you to stay away and get yourself the better that you deserve. I deserve better. Most do.
