Psychology 101. I was a people pleaser
I never loved myself, hence I became a people pleaser. I never reflected on concepts like self-worth. Slowly, I am learning to love myself. It was difficult at first. The whole concept of loving myself made no sense and seemed too weird and modern. As I began loving myself, my perspectives changed. It is a process that takes time. I have a long way to go. Part of loving myself is doing the right thing and sticking to my core values. I am idealistic and that can be a lonely thing. But I would rather be true to me than anything else.Good Night
