Eh, we gotta back up. I met a guy in community college who came here from Africa. Greece officials shot at his boat so he had to swim alongside it to safely get to shore. He ended up losing his hand at work in America and became a millionaire. Anyway, I actually tried to plan an "escape" from the USA under Dubya. You realize how hostile many countries are against immigrants? Some countries you can do literally every right and never be accepted. You could speak the language better than the locals and it wouldn't be good enough. Some of these countries are known for being "incredibly liberal" too. They love outsiders as tourists, not as immigrants. Not to mention, it's basically impossible to get into a lot of countries unless you have a lot of money, a very rare skill they need, or you were essentially born there.

Like, it sucks, but it's every country. America is actually more chill than a lot of places. Trump is just a dumbass who doesn't know how to keep a low profile like Obama and Dubya did before him. Go watch Cheech and Chong or Beavis and Butthead. They make fun of Immigration for being a bunch of dumbasses. Shit, Immigration straight up deports Beavis to Nicaragua I think because he says he's from "Lake Titicaca" while on a fucking sugar rush. The border is of course unchecked so he crosses it and heads back anyway.

I'm convinced at this point that Trump could take a steaming dump right there in their chambers during a debate and the only thing they'd do is pretend to be disgusted. Pretend, because actually being disgusted would be taking an opposing stance and you can't do that if you're a dem. You gotta be diplomatic, which apparently means saying 'yes' in the most disagreeable tone possible.

We're in a "WTF" moment as my polisci professor said, but that was probably long coming. We've had a few of those in America and came out better because of them. Sooner or later Dems will have to actually oppose Reps or someone will take their place like how the Tea Party Movement took over the Reps. It's natural and healthy as long as people participate by voting and protesting.

Also, I'd stay off Reddit for this stuff. They'll tell you they cared about DAPL, but honestly it was pretty dead on Reddit. Not to mention many non-natives who did go according to Chase Iron-Eyes only went for clout. At one point he asked people to stop coming if they weren't going to be an asset. Thank Obama for DAPL. They won't, but totally could.

It'll be fine. Just keep voting and stay away from mouth breathing redditors regardless of which side of aisle you're on. We're here because too few people vote, especially in midterms. Congress has been getting lazier for a long ass time now. SCOTUS is a joke, Congress is absent, and Trump is taking advantage of it.
