Ode to a failing business

I'm tired of the boo hoo sob stories of failing businesses.

The one I keep hearing about at one time was good, got greedy, and the owner (who was always a dick) showed more and more of his true colors until almost everyone who did commerce there stopped. Meanwhile there are three other businesses that offer a similar product, two ran by really nice people, and those places are doing great. The reason? People don't respond well to being treated like they are being done a favor for something they could get for cheaper elsewhere else.

In my darkest days this place was bragging about how great they were doing. I, like most, don't advertise when going through a hard time. This place that is closing always sobs on Facebook, they would never help anyone, unless it's fake philanthropy. Meaning, writing a Facebook story of giving someone $2 to pay for the person's kid or something. So, they aren't generous at all. Their prices were worse than anywhere else. The employees they chose mirrored all of the owners negative traits and a very snooty unwelcomed vibe was given off.

The owner, like I said was and is a colossal dickhead. The place made money off me for a bit. The last time I talked to the owner, he got snippy with me for no reason and after that I was done. According to testimonials I read, my experience wasn't singular. So, fuck this guy.
