Neo Coffee in Toronto Canada, has banned laptops and iPads after 5pm but are ok with phones or e-readers, as they claim doing this is encouraging conversation.

But of course using some your phone you well have a conversation with who you are with?

That is a new and odd rule. While we are at it, lets bring back black and white televisions, rotary telephones etc.
