So there is this Twitch streamer I follow, Naded, who used to be in the Halo MLG scene or whatever. While I've only really lurked in his streams, I noticed that he had started a sub-a-thon several months ago. This basically means that he has to continuously stream until a timer reaches zero, and the timer can be increased if somebody donates, subs, cheers bits etc.
What really grinded my gears is that a few weeks ago, after about 70-80 days of this sub-a-thon, the timer was about to be up. So he decides out of thin air, to use ad revenue as a means to increase the timer, in what I class as a desperate act to keep the sub-a-thon going. This raised the timer from under an hour, to more than 400 hours instantly.
I feel sorry for those who have donated, subbed or cheered to increase the timer, when it seemed like he was going to increase it anyway once it looked like it was going to end making their contributions pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
To be honest, the guy reeks of insecurity and narcissism. Clearly not wanting to end the thon at risk of not generating an income. Bogus.

This is really stupid. Is he getting any sleep? I bet he will start getting more subscribers when a bunch of ghouls get wind of this and enjoy watching someone decay into absolute madness in realtime. Bonus to them if he literally drops dead right on camera. =\ anonymous 6 hours ago
