My husband would never hurt a horse

I just find it hard. My husband talking to me on the phone while he’s at work feeding the horses. One is skiddish. “Why are you skiddish buddy did someone hit you before? I’d never hit you. You’re a sweet boy I’d never be mean to you”. He sounds so sweet but he’s broke my ribs before, his wife.
