It took me 4 hours to prepare a huge pot of lamb biryani for my family. It tastes perfect - better than restaurant and not oily. I used only 5 tablespoons of oil for one big pot of biryani. My family went for seconds. Then another member of my family wanted to eat giant shrimp. I cooked Goan Coconut Shrimp Curry. That turned out good too. It is more simple than Lamb Biryani. Cooking, prep and clean up took 1 hour.
I tend to make simple healthy food for myself. When I am with family, they give me a list. They love my cooking. I have been cooking since the age of 12.
I also went to the track to run. I needed to burn the calories from the rice in the lamb biryani.
