Just a lil teens issues

For context and to make the whole situation clear, im going to make a tiny introduction. There's me, my friend (we'll call them pie) and my friend's online friend (we'll call them apple).

Now this starts long ago, apple and pie became friends before i even knew pie, and they had a weird history. From what i think, they dated but then realized they are idiots and stopped the whole thing yet still put on a "silly act" in public. (This is all i had to figure it out myself) Now, none of them has the best life or mental health really. Im understanding. I tried to befriend apple later because like they are someone i wanna be friends with. The thing is, apple is SO dry. Even with pie (friends since 2022) they are the DRIEST texter youd ever meet. They wont send anything first due to anxiety and stuff which made me think that, well, they didn't like me much -or even at all- but i genuinely still care sm about them. Either way i thought that things were at least slightly different with apple and pie.
Pie is my only friend and for them im their only irl friend.
Later pie started telling me they got into a fight with apple. Show me texts and stuff and rant about how frustrated they are with apple because, TURNS OUT, apple is dry with pie too and pie doesn't like that and keeps teaching apple how to treat them.
Pie said they made apple promise them sm that theyd change for them and talk more but it's always hallow.
Time after time man i started getting tired. The fights looked and sounded abuse.
Like it just doesn't sit right with me that pie wants apple to completely change for them while they don't change a bit.
I tried to hint to pie that this is abuse and kinda bad to do pls stop it but that wont get the point.
So i got direct and told pie to PLEASE cut ties with apple. Apple wont change and you are genuinely hurting them every time and this is bad.
Pie started crying and saying they can't leave apple and are attached.
And this went on and on every single time. Pie would tell me about the new fight and id tell them this is abuse, leave apple for the love of god for them to start breaking down because they can't let go and because apple was the most important person to them in their darkest times and blah blah blah.
I even went to apple personally telling and begging them to block pie (because pie couldn't do it themselves. The thought of blocking apple made them break down) only to find apple the same!!
I begged apple EVERYTIME pie would tell me about them fighting. I BEGGED. I sent them voice messages telling them that i really love them both and get that they are so attached and appreciate the good times between them but this is over and sometimes we need to let go. AND NO ONE WOULD UNDERSTAND.
Even after apple opened up to me a few times while i was comforting them after a fight, they told me they are afraid of pie and hid stuff from them. They still love them but they are afraid from their anger and them leaving(Ik, insane)

So, i gave up. Really. I gave up telling them to please cut ties and move on.
Id ask pie about apple every now and then but nothing more.
In this time, pie got tired and started distancing from apple and seemed like they didn't care much. I was glad.

Few days ago, pie found out what apple was hiding. Apple was sending screenshots of the convos with pie to ppl who pie had an issue with.
Which ofc those ppl were telling apple that this was abuse and bullying pie and stuff.
Now apple is a very lonely person. They have no one in their life literally so they just wanted to get someone to help them or idk why they did that. I don't think neither of their actions (pie and apple) are correct.
The screenshots pie found were 8 months ago. They lost it,ofc. They felt sm betrayal and all that kind of stuff and confronted apple. Apple was shocked and this whole thing turned into two lovers that really did bad to each other but want to fix it all. Pie was in my dms sobbing and wanting to fix what they did with apple. Like bro???? Weren't you feeling betrayed 5 minutes ago?? Weren't you literally not talking with them for a week straight?? (Oh but did pie tell me that was a test..:I )And apple wasn't any better because then pie got mad and blocked them (ofc pie was breaking down in my dms because they just did something sooo hard) apple started putting that "GUYS I LOST THEM, LIKE, GENUINELY LOST THEM"

I don't wanna make this any longer but they went back together the next day. Pie texted me sorry because they couldn't resist and aren't ready to leave yet. And then apple and pie talked and things are "fixed".
Ofc i didn't say anything. It's useless. Im myself useless. Genuinely.

Im.. Im just.. Disappointed:)
