I hate my patients, I don't give a shit

Being a primary care physician is a miserable existence to begin with, But practicing here in New York is probably hell on earth.

Most patients in the US are these demanding, ignorant, non-compliant, fat, gullible, magic-seeking pieces of shit with very few exceptions that make you think it was worth it to get into 699 k in debt to finish your training. but here...Most people here deserve to die.

Every single day, there is an altercation. Because these ghetto pieces of shit are constantly asking for Opioids, xanax, Adderall and every other substance in the book to keep themselves doped up and unaccountable.

They walk in here with their sloppy, smelly assess asking for Ozempic and blaming me because their insurance OBVIOUSLY will deny it because there are no medical indications. And the ones that do get it approved stop it a few weeks later because they can't stuff their pig faces anymore with 2 pizzas and three bacon-egg-cheese sandwiches every fucking morning. I'm like THAT'S THE FUCKING POINT YOU ASSHOLE!

You know what's worse??? Not the Hypochondriacs (because Hypochondriasis is a genuine mental health condition with treatment). The worse are these narcissists, ghetto, NYCHA dwelling Medicaid fucks who don't get charged a dime and come in every other day and demand to be seen for menial bullshit.

These people literally shit in their doorsteps, but they want to be double booked because their pinky hurts. And you look at the chart and they were seen 10 fucking times in the last month. Meanwhile, really sick people who have a co-pay or no insurance can't come in to see me because they can't afford it or they have an ACTUAL JOB they can't leave.

You add the fact that they book 35 patients per day, with complex medical issues and EVERYONE demands to have EVERYTHING addressed all at once.

Fuck this shit. People don't deserve doctors in general.
