This may sound kind of cliche but I wish that I would have been able to date 30 years ago. I'm only saying that because dating culture right now sucks. I like to think I'm a rather traditional young woman I cook I clean I do the laundry I buy the groceries and I do any other household chore that a woman would do. Heck I'm even going to school to become a teacher and if that's not one of the most feminine professions I don't know what it is. I just got out of a 2 year long relationship with a person I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with maybe that's naive of me but I like to be optimistic. I cooked him 3 square meals everyday did his laundry cleaned up after him bought his groceries and paid for things when he was broke. And for a while things were good he had a steady job we lived together. And then he had to move back home which was 2 hours away from where I am for school. And suddenly I wasn't a priority and friends who had ghosted him a million times were suddenly so much more important than I was. S***** friends who I would barely call friends were more important than a woman who had given her loyalty her time her money and her love for 2 years. I called him one night close to the end of our relationship because my grandmother had been diagnosed with cancer and I needed him to come home from his ride on his ATV with his friends. He didn't come home in fact he accused me of having him on a curfew. I only wanted him to be home when he said he was going to be if he said 6 I expected him home at 6 and I also expected him to be there when I needed it when I called him screaming and crying begging for him to come home. I ended the relationship shortly after not because I didn't love him heck I still do but because I loved myself a little bit more and wanted a little bit more from my love life. And then to top it all off I found out a week after I had ended things that he had cheated on me 7 months earlier. Why can't someone just love me like I love them why do I have to put a 110% into a relatinship only to get 50 in return at most. I want to cook for someone to clean to do laundry I want to be a wife and I want to be a good one. I want to have kids and slow dance in parking lots and go for long drives and have date nights in. I want the love that comes with old country songs and roses. And unfortunately the current dating culture doesn't support that. It p***** me off so much because I did everything right he's told me I did everything right his parents had told me I'd everything right any one I talked to has told me I did everything right he's the villain he's the enemy he's the problem. But that doesn't make it any better it doesn't make me feel good. It just makes me why I couldn't be loved the same as I loved. I devoted myself to him completely and he didn't care. I just want to be a traditional woman. Dating a traditional decent man.

Hey, so I don’t know if you'll see this but I want to tell you that you deserve better.
You can do everything right and still be with the wrong person.

Wow, this was my rant from so long ago. Since then he tried to run me over, and slashed my parents tires twice... lovely anonymous 55 minutes ago
