Say what you will about her music. I'll agree with you that people are overstating her impact as a musician and actress. I can count all the songs I know by her off the top of my head on one hand. But she commanded the spotlight and did a lot of cool stuff like giving kids free books, paying local kids to finish school and go to college.

Far as her husband not seeing her perform: I think that's probably healthy actually. Jesus was a Carpenter and was crucified. Bro was a blue collar worker AFAIK. She's practically a saint now and he's basically known for being her husband.

Plus knowing famous people can get real awkward real fast. Honestly just way easier for some of us to keep that boundary. Not like their professional persona is who they are anyway.

Like I've got multiple identities. I've got a small business and I work a day-to-day job. I'm not hyper-vigilant or anything, but I try to separate them personally just to stay sane.

Like with my SMLLC I'm in control. Shits annoying when people ask it when I just casually bring it up, but yeah. I'm in control of the image and shit. I don't have to go on the news and explain myself or my relationship or anything. IDEK if I'd bother. Between all my problems I'd just end it all.

I don't even market my shit the way others do because of my mental health issues.
