So how come Trump's leaving the Maduro Chavismos in power? Because under Maduro the idealist vision of Chavez is no more. Under Maduro, it has become a cult of personality authoritarian system characterized by consolidation of power, suppression of opposition including negating congressional power & creating loyal courts, and economic mismanagement that's always positive in their & theirs favor; along with a bunch of self-enriching side hustle deals established through the power of his presidency for himself, top officials, and family.

Sound familiar? That's because it is exactly how Trump, Inc is working now, just like a proper Mob Family with Don Trump as the Capo di Tutti Capi, Boss of All Bosses. And just like a Mob Top Boss he's taken interest in low level boss Maduro's operations and wants it for himself, so out with him and in comes Top Boss. The Chavismo crew working for the low level boss can pledge loyalty to Top Boss & maybe keep lining their pockets with the Top Boss table scraps if he lets some fall to the floor or their own little side hustles that are too small to be of interest to the Top Boss. If they don't? Well, that's not a offer they would be smart to refuse because there are always lower ranking crew members looking for an opportunity to rise in rank.
