There's a reason why I'm no longer a blood donor. I don't want my blood type O going to rich fucks and their nepo babies. It's actually the reason why I refuse to sign the "shooter awareness" at work. It says "since I'm a worker, I maybe riskingy life to save some rich kids child while on campus" and with that I refuse. I got a master key and can leave the problem. Nepo babies are on their own. And but seriously why should I risk my life and pay more attention to my surroundings over Becky and her starbies.

This is what US healthcare looks like under Capitalism where cash is king and citizens are commodities for the Capitalists to exploit. Remember the Pharma Bro Martin Shkreli that bought a company making drug called Daraprim an anti-parasitical drug used by AIDs/Immunocompromised people. Overnight he jacked up the price of this life saving niche drug from $13.50/pill (an outrageous cost already for the rest of the world, but considered reasonable for the US) to $750/pill overnight. Sure he was eventually jailed, but not for this though. He got jailed for Security Fraud, messing with other Capitalists' money: Lying to investors in 2 hedge funds. And conspiring to defraud investors in another one of his pharmaceutical companies. Greedily gouging sick people on their life saving drug, the law saw nothing wrong with that at all. Though maybe it got other people interested to check out who this POS was and the digging likely uncovered the Securities Fraud.
