I have his online friend, let’s call him L, and we share an interest in music, piano especially, I was telling him about a good piece, that I listened to and it make me emotional, and he told me it wasn’t a big deal, like ok u can have ur own opinions but he really crushed my entire enjoyment of piano. And the worst part, L kept bragging about how he was gonna buy a new piano, an electric off Amazon budget, and it was lowkey trash piano, 350 bucks or smth and like ok, I won’t crash out, then I learnt thst he’s dumb as well, he thinks he’s the only person who can play, and like bro doesn’t ever listen to other people play, that’s just disrespectful. Also, since when did Chopin and Liszt count as ALIVE pianists?????

I don't care about the rest, but what's wrong with a cheap instrument? Squires and Epiphones are cheap and punch way above their weightclass. My P-45 was like $450 and it 's got all sorts of bells and whistles including weighted keys or some shit that yamaha does for their pianos. They might be snobbish about that piece, but you're one of those "gear heads" who are complete assholes because of what brand is on the guitar's head or on the instrument. The fuck? I'd rather play a cheap guitar or piano than a museum piece, and people like my playing more than I do.
