The fog has lifted

You meet someone and see things that don't add up, but they seem nice enough that you sorta look the other way. That's what I did, you can guess how it ended. Enough time has passed that I can tell it like it is.

One. She was ugly. I looked the other way because she seemed nice enough. I don't know why ugly women tend to suck more than descent looking people.

She lied. Multiple times. I could sense that she was lying during our first date and it only got worse from there.

Fake. Ugh. Not as bad as other people, but still.

No personality. No interests. Bland as hell. Coddled and it showed. Boring.

I don't deserve people like this. They don't deserve me. I am descent looking. I have a personality. I'm not spoiled milquetoast.
