Roots

Luckily, I have a written documents by my ancestors about our actual history and movement in the form of diaries etc..I plan to read them after my exam. I am ancestrally a mixture of 2 or possibly more religions and some of my ancestors had to escape and migrate multiple times due to religious riots and persecution. The last migration was during the partition of India.
I do not like to discuss my religion or religious beliefs in public. Here I am anonymous. I do not want to be discriminated or persecuted. I will not say more. I am scared. I have been called all kinds of words based on people guessing my religion.
That is the end of my religious talk. I shall remain private.

Don't count on the family history being 100%. I had an 20 y/o uncle in the 60's, the second youngest of 15 kids, who came to live with us when I was about 2. The guy was a sort of an ignorant country bumpkin because the grandfather that made sure the kids before him got educated and out of the sticks had died and the father who was a mean drunk who was also a big motivating influence to leave the place had mellowed with age. Mother was tasked basically raising 2 kids for a time because Father did not want to deal the task of getting his brother up up the level of functioning in modern society. Along with working on his reading, writing & arithmetic, she had to school him on banking, car insurance, driver's license, etc. She did such a good job a few months after he moved out some woman roped this dummy into an arranged marriage for a green card for 5K that he though was a good way to make easy money, and it was good for her because the sweet natured county boy would be easy to handle. So she got the card and disappeared, no divorce took place, and he went on to get married again a few years later, never told the new wife he was married before and swore us all to keep quiet about it as well which we did. His wife and kids never found out their marriage was not valid and the kids were all illegitimate and the rest of the family has no clue either. He even thanked me decades later (me being the last one alive besides him who knew) for keeping the secret all these years about a couple of years before he died of covid. Luckily for the kids this woman must not be alive or did not keep track of him afterwards figuring he'd never amount to much. But the 2nd wife and he did quite well and he died with a large number of assets and money that the 1st wife could have mounted a legal claim to.
