Coworkers: Oh *my name* you have so much PTO. Why don’t you use it?Also my coworkers: Why are you using PTO?
Also also my coworkers: Oh, your dad is having surgery? Why don’t you just go drop him off, come to work and then go pick him up after. That way you don’t have to make me work, I mean don’t have to use your PTO.
It’s not even PTO! It’s EIB! I am of no use to you and this team if I’m having an anxiety attack about my father! Why does everyone get to use their PTO/EIB if they wake up in the morning and have a zit, but I have to be DYING before I can use mine.
