Postal lady (going postal)

Bought size 11 shoes off ebay. They arrived and were size 12 (oh well).
I get the code I need for postage to return them.
Went to the post office out of hours, twice in 48 hours to get postage label but was told the system was down. I ended up carrying these shoes around all day (oh well).
Finally on day 3 the system is working and after work I get the label, go home and stick label to box.
I queue today at the main post office, hand my return box in and wait to make sure everything is ok.
Nice lady scans my box and starts looking confused and asks (postal lady) what to do. Postal lady comes over and asks why I did not hand parcel over yesterday and where did I get the postage.
I explain the above story. She asks for a second time where did I get the label? So I say, for a second time the above story. She says they are not meant to do that. I ask would you like me to get another label. She says no, you can't do that, they should not have given you a label in the first place.

At this point she has lost her professionalism, is getting louder and is quite irrate with the situation. I'm calm up until this point. I did not make the fucking rules lady, I tried to help you, I was paitent. At this point I said loudly, I don't care! I'm pretty sure I did not shout but I was loud. I think I got the message across as she goes quite and the nice lady says it is all sorted. I thank the nice lady and turn and leave.

I hope my parcel does not get "lost" but for the sake of £10 I don't care that much.

Kinda funny now thinking back on it :)
