People buys cars with those painted plastic bumpers are retarded. Bumpers are meant to be hit, so why would u buy a car that need to be painted and fixed when some jackass in a parking lot hits your bumper. Get a car with a real bumper.

I'm beginning to wonder how deadly those huge 1970s rigid land yachts really were. Deemed "deadly" because they lack crumple zones of modern cars to absorb the shock of impact. If they were equipped with seatbelts and modern airbags I imagine they would probally be about as safe or maybe even safer than a modern car. But of course, take what I said with a whole load of salt. I just wonder how much of the alleged "deadliness" is real and how much is scaremongering

"Painted bumpers"? As in these cars have a thin coat of rubber painted on to act as a "bumper"? What a joke!
