I’m sorry, but that teenage girl from Utah who ran away to meet with a random grown man is not that smart and less of a victim than people think. I remember girls like that when I was younger and why does the media always say that these types of people are victims when they are white, but runaways when they are black or Latinos? She willingly was texting multiple people and she left on her own accord. She’s old enough to know better and her parents even had an intervention with her when she was first caught.

I don't disagree. The girl sounds like a dumbass. I can say that. Most people, teenagers, kids, anyone or would know better than to be messaging people and meeting up with them willingly without being forced/manipulated.

This reminds me of the shit where Demi Lovato plays the victim now about how creepy it was that she went out with the guy who played Fez on That 70s Show. She was a spoiled bitch who did whatever she wanted, Fez was like 30 when she was 17. They remained "friends" until her 18th birthday. Now, she realizes just how immature and not grown up she was. 99% of people would have known better than that spoiled, dumb ass bitch. And the same logic applies to the story you're making this post about.

I do agree, but, stop with the blaming the media stuff. It's her own doing and choice, she's no victim. I knew a woman from my business group, very well connected and upstanding, who's 16 year old daughter took off with a guy who was 40. She blamed herself, gossip, and other things, but bottom line was, the girl did it on her own. No amount of great upbringing, dance or art lessons, hair and nail spa visits, would undo her own decision. The girl admitted it was her own choice, a mistake, and said the guy treated her with respect and not (and here's the good one), "just" for sex. Also her own doing.
