Kids do not owe their relatives anything

Casual reminder to anyone who has a child, is raising a child, or ever wants to raise a child that's no person whatsoever has the goddamn right to kiss, hug, touch or anything else to your child whatsoever.

A family member insisting that it's okay because they're family is fucking creepy regardless of whether it's just general uncomfortable behavior or genuine nonce behavior.

Teaching your kid that there are times when they can say no, but that no will not be respected when it comes explicitly to bodily contact is setting them up for a lifetime of abuse.

Grandma doesn't get to kiss and hug your kid if your kid does not want that.

If someone in your family starts treating your kids like shit because your kid told them to fuck off when they were explicitly made uncomfortable but I said family member, that family member probably should not be considered family anymore.

If your kid openly goes to you about a person making them unfucking comfortable and you decide to side with the creepy ass adult that is hurting your kid, congratulations, you are a shitty parent.
