I HATE that fucking website.

And it's stupid ass users.

You say ONE THING about it that you don't like and they'll dogpile you until you just stop fighting.

They're literally the fanfiction version of discord mods.

Now, there really aren't that many good fanfiction websites, i've searched FOREVER and it's really only the big guys that show up for anything.
****, fanfic.org or whatever the blue one is, and then ao3.

That's kinda it if you actually want people to read your stuff.

Too restricting. You can't post nsfw, gore, etc.
I use this one because I'm poor and have a shitty phone that won't open any other fucking app.

It's layout is too confusing, i am autistic and not dealing with that whole mess.

I like the fact you can post whatever you want...
But also hate the fact you can post whatever you want.
I personally will never support adult x child, incest etc fanfiction because it actively harms your mental state and the people around you..
There are countless videos, proof, etc.
I just hate it.
And then outside of that, the layout is ass.
The tagging system is ass.
It has randomly deleted my fanfics for no reason, and i see this happen with others as well.

I think the userbase is annoying, rude, and generally just fucking awful to be around.

And the fact that if i voice this using my actual public username, i just fucking know all my followers are gonna go insane.
I write fanfiction, like a lot, and i plan on making my own fanfiction site in the future but i really do NOT want to attract people who are gonna expect me to allow that type of stuff on my site.
I've been asked already if it will allow nsfw, which yes it will because smut isn't bad, but i fear the day anyone asks if it'll allow "lemon" fics. It won't. Like ever. But if someone asks, i don't wanna come off as snappy or smth because i feel strongly about this topic.

But i also feel alone for thinking this.
Ao3 can be awesome but i just can't get past them allowing the things they do.

And then people defend it like "well censorship bad!!!" Uh NOT WHEN YOU'RE CENSORING CHILD PORN?? Or INCEST?? RAPE??? They say it's "freedom of speech" but if i was out here saying "i am sexually attracted to kids" (i'm not btw) i'd get cancelled. Is that not freedom of speech?

And to that i say...
Freedom of speech is not the freedom of consequence.
You are by default a gross person if you find pleasure in writing about kids fucking. That's a fact.
But they act like it's their fucking right to fetishize that. Like no, IT ISN'T. YOU HAVE NO FUCKING RIGHT TO FETISHIZE LITERAL CHILDREN.
YOU. ARE. A. CREEP. IF YOU LIKE THAT SHIT.
