I don't have the space in my brain for movies
People always want me to watch movies with them, and it's not like I don't appreciate the offer, there's just absolutely no room in my head for this stuff. I work too many jobs and do too much family caretaking. If I sit down to watch a movie with somebody I will almost invariably fall asleep, which is embarrassing. Even if I stay awake, I'm going to miss half of what's going on. Then, a week or two will go by, and the other person will want to make reference to something or other that happened in the movie and I will have absolutely no idea. I hate how my life is so unbelievably overcrowded timewise, energetically, and otherwise, that something as simple as a movie is too much for my brain.anonymous Other October 28, 2025 at 6:32 pm 0 0
