Honest Effort

My New Year's resolution is to work extremely hard. I believe that if you do not work hard, even God or the Universe cannot help you. Every religion talks about this. I study Theology sometimes. Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, Christianity. They say the same thing: You need to at least make an effort. Nobody is going to get anything in life by just praying to God and not making an effort. Jealousy and competitiveness is also shallow. You are your own competitor. Jealously only leads to unhappiness because there will always be someone better than you no matter what. You just compete with yourself and be the best version of yourself.

My 5xl relative is jealous of me. She does not make any efforts. She prays to God. She is much older than me. If she really stopped acting childish and reflected with wisdom, she would realize that she just needs to work hard.
