I have recently started going to church due to one of my friends inviting me. This is my first church experience in my life and everyone has been so welcoming and kind. I go to youth group every Wednesday, church every Sunday, I’m going to church camp this summer, and I volunteer often at my church. But I’m worried that people are going to judge me because I’m a lesbian. I know that there are people who believe queerness is a sin and God will send me to hell. But I believe that love is love and God is love and that he loves all his children. If I start being harassed for being gay in my church I’m going to step away from this church and I really don’t want to. I love everyone in my church and this is the happiest I have ever felt and I genuinely feel touched by God and don’t want to lose my connection with God when it just started.anonymous Religion June 01, 2025 at 2:00 pm 0 0
